Rejuvenate your skin on a deeper cellular level.

What Are Chemical Peels?

This popular treatment is used to improve the texture, tone, and clarity of the skin. Here at D&M Treatments, we use natural acids or enzymes derived from plants to remove dead cells on top layers of your skin in order to reveal smoother, more even-toned skin underneath.
Depending on your skin type and the desired outcome, we use one or a combination of chemical peels including glycolic acid peel (for all skin types) and salicylic acid peel (for oily/acne-prone skin), among other options.

Get younger-looking skin

We have chemical peels that target a variety of skin concerns including wrinkles and sun damage by boosting collagen production for firmer skin.

Promote a clear complexion

Reduce the appearance of blemishes by gently exfoliating dead cells from the top layer of your skin.

Get smoother skin

Improve acne-prone or oily skin, while balancing other areas that are dull and dry.

Refine your skin’s texture

Chemical peels reduce pore size and the appearance of large pores for finer skin.

What Happens When You Get A Chemical Peel From D&M Treatments?

  • We do an initial assessment and talk with you about your skin concerns and desired results to determine which chemical peel is best suited for you.
  • We begin by cleansing the face to make sure your skin is free of makeup or other impurities.
  • Then, we reduce the pH level on your skin’s surface with either glycolic acid (AHA) or salicylic acid (BHA), depending on what you choose and which chemical peel will best address your needs. A combination of natural acids or enzymes is applied topically on areas needing treatment (e.g., forehead, cheeks, nose) for approximately five minutes.
  • After that time, we neutralize the acid using a pH-balanced solution to close your skin’s pores.
  • Finally, after any redness subsides and you are ready to go home, we apply moisturizers along with sun protection before sending you off until your next appointment.

Are Chemical Peels For You?

If you have a recurring skin condition that is causing irritation or preventing your skin from looking its best, chemical peels can help.

Chemical peels are quick and easy with little to no downtime! You will notice an improvement after just one treatment. Your skin will continue to improve with each treatment.

Remember: chemical peels are not for everyone, so it is important that you visit us first to receive a consultation and assessment before having one of our peels done on your face. Since they can cause significant redness or irritation if too much acid is applied, we want to be sure the peel best suited for you is used.

Tip: If chemical peels are not for you, don’t worry! You can still enjoy deep exfoliation and rejuvenation with D&M Treatments’ variety of other services that can help improve the appearance of your skin.
We have many solutions for improving troubled skin or signs of aging including facials, microdermabrasion treatments, and dermaplaning.
